Amazing pair of Boulle style serpentine cabinets with glass doors and copious adornment. Faux tortoiseshell and intricately cut brass bands grace the top and sides of each piece. Brilliant brass molded edging and banded inlay trace the contours of the cabinets. Brass plaques in foliate, acanthus and scroll motifs are stationed flanking the glass door, and the apron center features a Zeus-like head set amongst more elaborate scrolls. The outside is ebonized wood, the inside has a single fixed shelf with ebonized edging and a single inlayed band of brass. 

Great vintage condition with some light spots on various surfaces of the black wood (see photos). A few small spots of missing veneer along the bottoms and light crackling at the top, all commensurate with age and use.
